As we tackle this ambition, we seek an Internal Communications Lead to help Limers understand the how and why behind our company priorities and decisions. This position will report to the Chief Brand & Communications Officer.
We are a remote-first organization; however, this role will be based in the Eastern Time Zone, with a strong preference for the New York City area. Washington DC and Atlanta are acceptable as well.
What you’ll do:
Lead strategy development, execution and measurement of internal communications that bring to life our culture and create company-wide alignment for business priorities
Own strategy for internal comms channels and create content to better inform, engage and inspire Limers, ranging from All-Hands, to company intranet, to organizational announcements, to Slack
Write messaging and develop plans to support senior executives with company announcements, milestones and response to crises
Create and manage communications calendar and cadence to ensure we highlight important milestones and events that support our key business goals and messages
Produce and emcee company all-hands meetings: content and topic planning, managing executive and cross-functional presenters, managing appropriate stakeholder review for content, ensuring key themes are clear and consistent with our brand, and copyediting excellence
Partner with External Communications, Social Media, Brand Marketing to effectively align Lime’s storytelling across all internal and external audiences
Collaborate with People, Ops, Recruiting and other teams to develop internal comms plans that support company programs, rollouts of new initiatives or drive change
Create content and assets, localizing for cultural nuance - everything from internal videos to slide presentations and more
About you:
7+ years experience in internal communications, employer branding & marketing, change management in a high-growth company
Must have experience producing company all-hands/internal meetings and developing content that tells a story; presentation design in Google slides
Experience creating and editing simple yet engaging videos and other content
Proactive and high-energy
Great instincts and ability to confidently communicate with and influence a diverse, cross-functional audience across levels, regions and cultures
Strong writer and communicator, with a discerning, highly-detailed eye, who can write creatively across channels using the latest tools including AI
Public company experience preferred, with experience working across time zones, and an understanding of how to both maintain consistency of global messaging as well as openness to understanding and applying cultural nuances
Experience with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices and programs as well as change management and transformation communications
Maintain cool and humor in times of stress
Excellent judgment as you will have access to sensitive and confidential information
