8-week internship program designed for current college students, undergraduate or graduate seeking a career in commercial real estate. Partaking in the program is intended to provide well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business, across multiple service lines, as well as valuable professional skills, earned by working alongside talented professionals at Newmark’s Boston office.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Inputting and organizing data in IDEAL
Collaborate with brokers, clients and research department to gather data, such as sale and/or lease comparables and market leasing data/statistics
Assist in the development of presentations, proposals and offering memorandums
Provide effective and consistent customer service to clients, management and local staff
May perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current college junior, senior, or graduate level student
Detail oriented with excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team
Intermediate knowledge of PC applications such as MS-Excel and MS-Word.
Salary Range Language
The expected rate for this position ranges from $14 to $15 hourly. The actual hourly rate will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to the hourly rate and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity
