About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Quantum Machine Learning (QML) Research team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in quantum computing and machine learning who is eager to explore the intersection of the two. You'll work on cutting-edge research and development projects, contributing to the advancement of hybrid quantum-classical models and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on quantum machine learning algorithms (e.g., VQAs, QNNs, quantum kernel methods).

  • Design and simulate quantum circuits using platforms like Qiskit, PennyLane, or Cirq.

  • Explore hybrid quantum-classical pipelines for ML tasks such as classification, regression, and generative modeling.

  • Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to implement proof-of-concept models.

  • Present findings in internal meetings and contribute to technical documentation or publications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of quantum computing principles (e.g., superposition, entanglement, quantum gates).

  • Experience with quantum simulators and cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Xanadu, etc.).

  • Prior research or projects in QML or quantum information science.

  • Familiarity with ML concepts including neural networks, optimization, and linear algebra.

  • Experience with Python and libraries such as NumPy, PyTorch/TensorFlow.

  • Exposure to quantum SDKs like Qiskit, PennyLane, or Cirq.

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently.

  • Enthusiasm for exploring deep tech and solving complex problems.
