Position Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized intern to support our Product Development Project Management team. This internship will provide exposure to key aspects of the product development lifecycle, working across brand incubation, Special Projects, e.l.f. Collaborations, e.l.f. Skin, and Well People. As an intern, you will assist two project managers with day-to-day project tasks and contribute to innovation projects. This is a full-time (36-40 hours per week) internship based in our New York office, with at least 3 days per week required in-office. This internship has an immediate start with no end date, but please note it is for internship purposes only with no opportunity for full-time employment at the conclusion.

Requirements

  • Must be based in New York and able to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
  • Availability to support the project management team full-time (36-40 hours per week).
  • Immediate availability to start with no end date.
  • This is an internship role only, with no opportunity to join the team full-time after the internship.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior project management or product development experience is a plus (especially with tools like Wrike, but not required).
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to take on new tasks and show flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Innovation Support: Assist with innovation and projects across multiple brands, leveraging project management techniques in Wrike to create new projects, track tasks, update due dates, and ensure seamless coordination among cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management Assistance: Support the project management team’s daily operations by drafting detailed meeting agendas, sending out meeting recaps, and following up with key stakeholders (Product, Packaging, Sales) to ensure all deliverables are on track and deadlines are met.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the photo production team and China NPD team to coordinate product sample requests for visual merchandising, packaging design, and digital initiatives. Help manage the distribution of final formula and final white box samples.
  • Wrike Project Blueprint Management: Regularly update and ensure accuracy of product development blueprints within Wrike.
  • Ad-Hoc Project Support: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by assisting with ad-hoc project
