About Dexcom’s Summer Intern Program:

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of “Game Changers” based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. We are a welcoming crew of people who come from a variety of backgrounds. Dancers, musicians, artists, gamers. Where you come in:

• You will learn how integrations design and build mature distributed architectures.
• You will get hands-on developing Java microservices.
• You will get to work on cutting edge message streaming software.
• You will have an opportunity to use generative-AI technologies to assist in building and testing software

What makes you successful:

• You bring curiosity to the table.
• You are a tenacious individual who takes extreme ownership.
• Must have a basic knowledge of Java coding.
• Must understand debugging of Java code.
• Nice to have would be a background in message streaming technologies.
• Nice to have would be some knowledge of generative-AI concepts and tools

Education and Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
• Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university in a STEM discipline with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Non-Exempt Salary Details:

The annualized base salary range for this role is $27.00 to $29.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
