Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to cover the SVP of Marketing role during maternity leave. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving ID5’s global marketing strategy and execution across brand, product, communications, and demand generation. As a member of the executive team, the interim SVP will also play a key role in company-wide decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee ID5’s marketing function, including brand positioning, messaging, and activation.
- Lead and support a high-performing remote marketing team covering Events & Demand Generation, Communications & Content Marketing, Product Marketing, and Market Intelligence.
- Collaborate with Commercial (Sales, Strategic Partnerships, Publisher Development), Product, and other teams as needed to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Participate in weekly Executive Team (Zoom) meetings as well as in-person bi-monthly Seminars, contributing to company-wide strategic discussions and decisions.
Messaging & Positioning
- Ensure consistency and clarity in ID5’s positioning across all channels and audiences.
- Oversee ongoing brand initiatives and ensure alignment with the company’s narrative around Adaptive Identity, privacy, and cross-environment addressability.
Events, Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Oversee strategy and execution of ID5-hosted and third-party events, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and ROI.
- Support team members managing logistics, programming, and post-event follow-up.
- Supervise the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, partner, and event channels.
- Support the team in planning and optimising demand generation initiatives to achieve pipeline goals.
Content Marketing & PR
- Initiate, review, and approve major content initiatives, including articles, whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, and guides.
- Manage the relationship with the PR agency, ensuring alignment on messaging and coordinating communications around key launches or partnerships.
Product Marketing
- Ensure product launches and feature updates are communicated effectively to the right audiences across all channels.
- Review and guide messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials to support go-to-market efforts.
Market Intelligence
- Oversee strategic research and competitive analysis to inform marketing and product decisions.
- Provide support in identifying trends, opportunities, and risks in the evolving identity and ad tech landscape.
Team Management & Operations
- Provide leadership, feedback, and guidance to the team while maintaining a supportive and collaborative culture.
- Ensure smooth operation of marketing workflows, tools, and reporting.
- Manage budget allocations and tracking.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the digital advertising, SaaS, or identity/technology sectors.
- Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring multi-functional marketing teams, with a track record of driving alignment, execution, and results.
- Strong background in strategic marketing, with expertise across brand, product marketing, demand generation, PR, and content.
- Experience working closely with executive teams and contributing to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft, review, and approve messaging for both technical and business audiences.
- Solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including identity resolution, privacy, CTV, and programmatic.
- Comfortable operating in a remote-first, fast-paced, international environment with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
- Previous experience in an interim or maternity cover leadership role, ideally within a scaling B2B tech company, is a plus.
