Interim Director of Analytics

Prominence Advisors is actively seeking an Interim Director of Analytics to join their team. As an Interim Director of Analytics, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of reporting projects for different healthcare organizations. Your responsibilities will include gathering reporting requirements, designing and developing reports, conducting testing and validation, and providing post-implementation support. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the reporting projects.

For this role you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Certifications
• Databricks certification preferred
• Experience
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data platforms, or related areas, including leadership experience
• Healthcare data experience, including familiarity with clinical data, EHR ecosystems, interoperability, and related healthcare data environments
• Experience designing, building, modernizing, or scaling enterprise data platforms
• Experience with Databricks/lakehouse architecture strongly preferred
• Role Focus & Responsibilities
• Technical, architect-level leader who can design and build data platforms, with a strong understanding of the broader data ecosystem without needing to be an expert in every area, such as data integration.
•  Will operate within a cross-matrix management structure, with dotted-line relationships to decentralized data resources across the organization.
•  Responsible for influencing, aligning, and bringing together decentralized data teams and resources, even without direct reporting relationships.
•  The broader Data & AI organization spans:
• Data in Transit: EDI, APIs, and integrations
• Data at Rest: PACS and related data infrastructure
• Data Products: Analytics-focused products designed around consumer/customer needs
