About the Role

The Integrated Senior Supply & Demand Planner converts customer demand into executable supply plans that support service levels, inventory health, and operational performance. This role manages demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, production readiness, material availability, fulfillment priorities, and cross-functional supply chain alignment.

This role works with Sales, Product Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment, and Operations to translate customer requirements into practical plans. The planner balances forecast accuracy, inventory investment, capacity constraints, and business objectives while turning demand and supply changes into clear operational decisions.

In this role, you will help ensure the business has the right product available at the right time by connecting demand signals, supply constraints, inventory decisions, and fulfillment priorities.

Responsibilities

1. Integrated Demand & Supply Planning

  • Own demand forecasts, inventory plans, replenishment strategies, and supply readiness for assigned product lines. 
  • Balance forecast variability, inventory investment, supplier lead times, manufacturing capacity, and customer priorities. 
  • Translate forecast changes into executable supply plans while minimizing inventory risk and service disruptions. 

2. Inventory, Capacity & Fulfillment Management

  • Optimize inventory across multiple warehouses to achieve service, inventory turns, Days Sales of Inventory (DSI), and OTIF objectives. 
  • Allocate inventory based on business priorities, customer commitments, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Identify shortages, operational constraints, and fulfillment risks, then recommend priorities and recovery actions. 
  • Develop inventory strategies that improve supply continuity while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate fulfillment priorities with Order Fulfillment and Manufacturing. 

3. Forecasting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain statistical forecasting, inventory, replenishment, and planning models. 
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and operational KPIs. 
  • Build dashboards and customized reporting that improve visibility into planning performance. 
  • Translate planning data into business recommendations for leadership. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning metrics and forecasting methodologies. 

4. Cross-Functional Planning Leadership

  • Facilitate alignment between demand signals, supply constraints, and customer commitments. 
  • Communicate supply risks, shortages, capacity constraints, recovery plans, and inventory impacts. 
  • Provide clear planning visibility that enables informed business decisions. 

5. Digital Planning & Process Improvement

  • Improve planning effectiveness, data quality, and planning governance. 
  • Lead automation initiatives, planning enhancements, and workflow improvements. 
  • Strengthen planning data integrity and exception management. 
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning scalability and operational excellence. 

6. Leadership & Business Execution

  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, and escalations simultaneously. 
  • Present planning recommendations and business tradeoffs to senior leadership. 
  • Support strategic planning initiatives while maintaining day-to-day operational execution. 
  • Perform other duties supporting business continuity and planning excellence. 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • APICS/ASCM certification preferred. 

Experience

  • 5-8+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, master scheduling, or integrated business planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in electronics, telecommunications, or similar industries preferred. 
  • Demonstrated success balancing demand, supply and customer service objectives. 
  • Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting and inventory optimization. 

Technical Skills

  • ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle
  • Statistical forecasting 
  • Advanced Excel 
  • SQL or database reporting 
  • Power BI knowledge preferred
  • RapidResponse or equivalent planning platforms experience preferred
