We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Specialist to join our team at Wealth Enhancement! The Insurance Specialist will conduct comprehensive insurance needs assessments, develop tailored insurance solutions, and educate clients on various insurance products. This role involves policy management, staying updated on industry trends, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with team members to achieve strategic goals.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $67,300.00 to $77,300.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. This role is also eligible for our corporate bonus.

Primary Job Functions:

Client Consultation:

  • Conduct comprehensive insurance needs assessments for clients.

  • Develop and present tailored insurance solutions.

  • Educate clients on various insurance products and their benefits.

Policy Management:

  • Oversee the administration of clients' insurance policies.

  • Ensure timely policy renewals and updates.

  • Assist clients with claims processing and resolution.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on the latest insurance products and industry trends.

  • Evaluate and recommend new insurance products to enhance the portfolio.

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to insurance products.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

Collaboration:

  • Track progress towards insurance production goals.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

  • Work effectively with the Senior Insurance Specialist.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Insurance to resolve any operational issues.

Educations/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, insurance, or related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Financial Services or Life and Health insurance sales.

  • Strong knowledge in long-term care planning and long-term care insurance products.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently.

  • Previous experience in long-term care processing and post-issue servicing.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality.

  • Life and Health Insurance License required.

  • SEI, Series 6 or 7 preferred.

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Lead level is $67,300.00 to $97,600.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
