What you'll do:
- Design and develop blended learning content for programs and projects that support the Chewy Corporate Enterprise space
- Develop and evangelize standard methodologies in training and performance improvement processes
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify key information and use that information to build learning objects
- Write training-related assessments in an electronically delivered medium to meet the objectives as defined by the design documents
- Work with and help maintain core new hire training components
- Project manage curriculum development efforts
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, and/or teaching
- 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development or Instructional Design
- Proven Instructional Design skills, including writing learning objectives in content, building design documents, and authoring content from scratch
- Multimedia Development experience, including eLearning authoring (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Evolve, Adapt, or Elucidat), animation (Vyond, Adobe Animate, or Adobe After Effects), video (Adobe Premiere or Camtasia), and graphic design (Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator)
- Learner Experience Design skills including visual design, usability, interactive design, and accessibility
- Strong project management skills across multiple strategic and tactical projects
- Strong interest and dedication to learner satisfaction and delivering world class customer service
- Proven Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience working with style guides and following style standards, ensuring consistency and standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team and take on big challenges that may be ambiguous (How you accomplish your work is as important as the results you get in this collaborative team environment.)
