Job Description

The Landscape Inspector is responsible for overseeing the quality and compliance of landscaping work on construction projects. This role involves conducting site inspections, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and maintaining high standards of safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of landscaping work.
  • Ensure all landscaping activities comply with project plans, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Document and report any defects or non-compliance issues.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, architects, and engineers to address and resolve landscaping issues.
  • Verify that all landscaping materials and equipment meet quality standards.
  • Oversee the safety of landscaping operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to landscaping.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Landscape Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping techniques, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Landscape Inspector) is preferred.
  • Degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field is an advantage.

Work Environment:

  • Fieldwork involving regular visits to construction sites.
  • Use of safety equipment as required.
