Your Impact

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and internal departments. Your work will help ensure accurate quoting, timely communication, efficient order tracking, and superior customer support. By maintaining critical sales data, coordinating product demonstrations, and supporting both lead-acid and lithium-ion product lines, you will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the continued success of Sunlight Batteries USA.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a strong understanding of Sunlight Batteries USA products, services, applications, and pricing structures to effectively support customers and the sales team.
  • Provide quoting support for lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion systems, chargers, accessories, and related solutions.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of inquiries and requests.
  • Track and communicate warranty information, delivery timelines, and order status updates through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Monitor and update lithium-ion order information, including product tracking and shipment coordination with international suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information within company systems.
  • Support sales demonstrations by gathering operational data, analyzing performance reports, and assisting with presentation development.
  • Manage the company's demonstration fleet, including lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion systems, and chargers.
  • Coordinate and distribute information regarding used and surplus inventory to support inventory reduction efforts and sales opportunities.
  • Assist in maintaining forklift selector guides and product application resources for the sales organization.
  • Maintain and update the company's distribution and service network database and mapping resources.
  • Support the onboarding and setup of new customer, agent, and dealer accounts within company systems.
  • Prepare reports and provide analytical support to help identify sales trends, customer opportunities, and operational improvements.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and integrity while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications

 

What You'll Bring

  • College degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, account coordination, or a related business function.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships across multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding customer support.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or sales management systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial batteries, material handling equipment, energy storage solutions, or related industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, or energy-related products is preferred.
