The Role

Are you looking to leverage your prospecting experience and expand into a full-cycle sales role? As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to build and execute effective campaigns and programs to promote cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue from existing customers. You will work closely with various teams, including sales, product marketing, management, and customer success, to identify customer needs and drive incremental sales through targeted cross-selling initiatives.

Your role will involve analyzing customer data, designing compelling marketing content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.

This position is ideal for individuals eager to sharpen their skills in consultative selling, campaign execution, and cross-departmental collaboration while preparing to take on the responsibilities of an Account Executive.

What You’ll Do

  • Become an expert in all of Studio Designer’s features and functionalities, and in the pricing tiers and offerings to recommend appropriate changes to current clients.
  • Practice active listening with clients to become an expert in the interior design field and to understand clients’ business needs.
  • Utilize all sources of information, including clients, sales and marketing teams, social media, and interior design publications, to identify how clients can best implement Studio Designer offerings.
  • Analyze pricing structures and product costs to create product bundles and discounts that will benefit all parties.
  • Use demographic and psychographic information about clients as well as customer feedback to understand their goals and challenges.
  • Map out customer journeys to identify how clients will use Studio Designer features and how it will help them maximize their businesses.
  • Communicate cross-departmentally to understand client requirements, uncover needs, and develop action plans.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience selling services to business organizations as a Sales Development Representative/Business Development Representative with a track record or meeting or exceeding performance goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Communications, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
  • Understanding or proficiency in designing and implementing effective sales or cross-selling strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to uncover customer needs, develop recommendations, and deliver them persuasively.
  • Capacity to be organized, self-motivated and driven to succeed and achieve goals, especially with remote supervision. This includes comfort in asking for help and openness to clear direction. 
  • Is comfortable and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. 
  • A track record of being competitive, collaborative, methodical, and calm under pressure.
  • Ability to resolve issues and problem solve in the moment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships across your team and the company.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to work in pacific or mountain time zone is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the interior design industry is a huge plus.
Base pay range
$48,000$50,000 USD
