What would a typical day look like as a B2B Inside Sales/Client Services Specialist at Digicomm International?

The B2B Inside Sales/Client Services Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for our business customers, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service throughout every interaction. In this role, you will manage the full order lifecycle, proactively engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely, accurate solutions. By staying informed about customers' upcoming projects and priorities, you will identify opportunities to recommend relevant products and services that support their business goals while contributing to customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.

What we'll expect from you and what you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customer accounts, serving as a trusted and responsive point of contact
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend relevant Digicomm products and services using a consultative, solutions-based approach
  • Leverage internal product knowledge to identify cross-selling opportunities, referring to the sales and engineering team when appropriate.
  • Perform account reviews and follow up on strategic quotes that have yet to be turned into an order
  • Manage customer inquiries across the order lifecycle, including order entry, status updates, expediting, delivery coordination, and order management
  • Partner with internal teams — including sales, supply chain, and operations — to resolve issues, execute request for prices (RFPs), and deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our product portfolio to support customer needs
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity documentation within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and continuity
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset to daily operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of B2B customer service experience, ideally within a distribution or supply chain environment.
  • 1 year of sales experience highly preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar) preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

What you can expect from us:

This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based on personal and team performance. The salary range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
