Less complexity. More dentistry. More impact.

At Videa, we help dental clinicians deliver better care to millions of patients through AI.

Oral health is health. Dentists are protectors of societal wellness. We build technology that enhances the moment of care, amplifies clinical expertise, and makes proactive oral healthcare the norm.

Thousands of clinicians rely on Videa every day. Your work here will be reflected in real practice, improving real patient outcomes. If you want to build something that matters, keep reading.

The Role

We are looking for an Innovation Product Engineer who wants to build and ship meaningful work. We are looking for a "10x Builder" who leverages the latest AI development tools to rapidly conceptualize, build, and deploy functional prototypes. You will operate as an autonomous unit, bypassing traditional engineering bottlenecks by using AI to generate code, design architectures, and stand up infrastructure.

Your mission is validation velocity: proving technical feasibility and product-market fit through working software before we commit to a full-scale engineering build.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zero to One Track Record: You’ve been in roles taking greenfield ideas and validating concepts that have resulted in successful revenue generating products.

  • Rapid Feasibility Testing: Take a raw "What if...?" idea and turn it into a clickable, data-connected application within 48–72 hours to prove it can work.

  • Solo End-to-End Build: Use AI coding agents and LLMs to build "Stage 1" functional products (Full-stack) from scratch without needing a dedicated backend or frontend team. This initial proof of concept will likely be thrown away - you should be comfortable with that.

  • AI-Driven Toolchain Management: Curate and master a stack of "Multiplier Tools"

  • Customer Obsessed: Regular touchpoints with customers to understand pain points and run iterative feedback loops with prototypes to validate it meets their needs.

  • Technical De-risking: Identify the "hardest" part of a concept and build a specific proof-of-concept (POC) to ensure the tech is viable before the business invests.

  • Hand-off Documentation: When a prototype is validated, provide the "AI-generated blueprint" and whatever code to the core engineering team for assessment.

Your work will not sit in a slide deck. It will show up chairside.

What You Bring
  • Polyglot Logic: You don't need to be a master of one language, but you must be a master of system architecture. You should know enough Python, TypeScript, and SQL to guide AI agents to write working code.

  • Prompt Engineering for Development: Advanced ability to "co-author" complex software with AI, including debugging AI-generated hallucinations and refactoring legacy AI code.

  • Architecture Intuition: Ability to choose the right "Lego blocks" (APIs, Serverless functions, BaaS) to stand up a product instantly.

  • Product Sense: A "founder mindset." You aren't just building to spec; you are building to test a hypothesis. You know when to cut corners to move faster and when quality matters.

Most importantly, you care about building technology that improves people’s health.

What It Is Like to Work Here

We win and lose together as one team. Collaboration is not a buzzword here. We share context early, ask for input, and step in to help when someone is stuck.

We hold a high bar, but we stay grounded. We move fast, learn as we go, and stay focused on what matters most for clinicians and patients.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 100 percent company-paid dental and vision coverage

  • Generous medical contributions

  • The opportunity to work on AI that is actually used every day

  • A team of thoughtful, driven people who genuinely care

Do Not Meet Every Requirement

Apply anyway.

We are not looking for perfect resumes. We are looking for the right teammate who is excited to contribute to our mission and grow with us.

Equal Opportunity

Videa is committed to building an equitable, inclusive, and supportive workplace. Diverse teams build better products and better healthcare. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

We have raised more than $67 million from world-class investors, including Threshold Ventures, Spark Capital, Zetta Venture, and Pillar VC, as well as leaders such as Frederic Kerrest, co-founder of Okta. Our work has been featured in TechCrunch and The Wall Street Journal.

If you want to join a breakthrough health technology company and accelerate its impact, we encourage you to apply.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
