Infrastructure Operation Analyst
Morningstar India is looking for an Infrastructure operations analyst based in our Navi Mumbai office. The ideal candidate should be someone who thrives on delivering high quality operational output, new experiences and technical challenges. AS an Infrastructure Operations analyst working in Morningstar's IT infrastructure team, you will be involved in Infrastructure Operations activities on premises, virtualization, cloud platforms etc. for Morningstar's growing IT infrastructure that currently covers 30 offices and 8000+ virtual and physical servers in 10 Datacentres worldwide.
Interested candidates should have a proven track record of supporting Infrastructure platforms across a broad technology base. The successful candidate for this role should have at least three years' experience in an IT and/or operational support role and should have experience of one or more of the following technologies: Azure Update Management and Patching Solution, PowerShell, Python Scripting, Chef Cookbooks, rundeck and Redhat/Linux.
Candidates should have excellent English, strong communication skills and a degree in computer related science or related scientific field with strong academic credentials is required. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant IT industry technology certifications. (e.g. ITIL)
This role will require the successful applicant to work in the UK shift & may require periodically work outside of normal business hours as required for operational reasons.
Day to Day responsibilities:
Manage Azure patching incident and provide solution in the stipulated SLA's Configuration and Troubleshooting on AWS instance, On-prem servers patching through Azure Automate the process using PowerShell, Python Scripting, Chef Cookbooks and rundeck Troubleshoot on failed patching alerts and provide solution in the given SLA Provide innovative solutions to meet Morningstar's technical requirements Server builds & retire for Morningstar's teams. Storage capacity provisioning Managing of internal and external third-party SSL Certificates and work with require team to implement the same. Creation/modification/ removal of LTM Collaborate and support ITPPM team and others on their requirements. Follow the change management process and coordinate with customers and workers on Firewall or any infrastructure changes Backup reporting & troubleshooting Create and manage technical documentation

- At least 3-5 Years of VMware & Windows OS Administration experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Update Management for patching on servers.
- Internal and External DNS support experience.
- Experience of automation of task using PowerShell cli & Chef, Rundeck.
- Understanding of Linux & AWS services like VPC, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudFront will be an added advantage.
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent knowledge & experience on SSL/TLS Certificates Troubleshooting experience on OS performance issues Experience of security standards, best practices and principles.
- Strong understanding of CIFS, NFS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS & HTTP/HTTPS Excellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle and lead multiple tasks Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in Security Patch deployment using Azure to secure Windows servers, AWS instance.
- Experience in Automate the process using PowerShell ,Python Scripting and Chef Cookbooks.
- Experience in Linux administration & troubleshooting Experience of Jira F5 BIGIP traffic manager.
- Experience in Splunk configuration & troubleshooting Microsoft Certifications ITIL, Azure, VMware VDI, VMware VCP Certifications.
