The Industry Development Manager identifies and develops opportunities in rubber and composites, leads product commercialization, oversees trade shows, and builds key industry relationships.

Responsibilities:- Identify and develop new industries, application, and growth opportunities in rubber and composites.
- Lead new product commercialization by defining use cases, presenting technologies, and aligning with sales/marketing.
- Oversee trade shows and industry events, ensuring strong technical representation and accurate marketing content.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure consistent technical messaging and support across all markets.
- Support product line simplification initiatives and clearly communicate strategy changes to distribution and sales.
- Build and maintain key industry, supplier, and distributor relationships to advance development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical disciplines will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in rubber, composites, polymers, or related materials industries.
- Strong distributor experience, either working for a distributor or in a role that extensively supports and partners with distribution.
- Experience working with application engineering, sales teams, and channel partners.
- Strong ability to translate technical information into clear, actionable market and application guidance.
- Proven experience supporting new product introductions and market development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and training skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to and occasionally exceeding 50%) across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
