We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Procurement Team Buyer! You will support all procurement activities for the organization. Responsible for Indirect Procurement Category analysis, assisting with the implementation of Category strategy and development of preferred supplier lists. Experience sourcing Travel as well as other areas of indirect procurement is ideal. Seeking a candidate with the expertise and potential for advancement into a Senior Buyer position.

Candidates must be based in a location that aligns with Central Standard Time or Eastern Standard Time working hours.

• Demonstrate an understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain concepts.

• Assist senior personnel with RFx creation, bid analysis and conducting negotiations.

• Analyze and understand category market trends, pricing and negotiating levers, supplier base, and manage the overall Indirect Procurement Spend.   

• Review and evaluate contract terms to ensure supplier performance and minimize risk.

• Lead projects across organization to include policy and procedure design, supplier selection, and reporting.

• Advocate for implementation of procurement policies and procedures across the organization.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• Preference for a Bachelor’s degree in either Supply Chain, Business, Finance or another related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Strategic Sourcing, with a focus on indirect spend categories.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

• Familiar with project management concepts

• Workday or Salesforce (CLM Software) experience is a plus.
