Incontestable Examiner I (Remote)

Role Overview:

Could you be our next Incontestable Examiner I? Globe Life is looking for an Incontestable Examiner I to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating death claims, determining next steps in the process, and adjudicating the claim benefit. An Incontestable Examiner I is responsible for keeping claims moving through the processing procedures and escalating to the Contestable Analyst as needed.

This is a remote / work-from-home position.

What You Will Do:

• Reviews all policies outside of the two-year review window (incontestable) and processes in accordance with policy provisions and Company procedures.
• Processes claims on a multiple-claims system.
• Contacts outside 3rd parties and obtains additional claim information needed.  Third parties consist of agents, beneficiaries, funeral homes, and coroners.
• Update system notes with claim progress.
• Provides updates to the beneficiary regarding claim progress.
• Responsible for claim movement and progression.
• Maintains production data and meets the department-set production quota.
• Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Can Bring:

• High School Diploma.
• Work experience in a production environment.
• Previous data entry experience is a plus.
• Previous insurance industry and claims handling experience is a plus.
• Must have a high level of quality and focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to process a high volume of claims efficiently and accurately.
• Critical problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, communication, and written skills.
• Strong organizational and research skills.
• Must be detail-oriented, have the ability to work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Works well independently.
• Team player.
