About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and
qualifying sales opportunities for the Confluent sales team. This position lays the foundation for a successful high tech sales career. There is a clear career growth path within Confluent for the right candidate that is willing to learn, work hard, and succeed.

What You Will Do:
  • Work with top enterprise and commercial accounts in your assigned territory

  • Qualify & convert inbound leads into opportunities for our sales teams

  • Direct prospect engagement through a multi-threaded approach that prioritizes calling, as well as utilizing email and LinkedIn communication

  • Initial prospect discovery and qualification before passing off to sales

  • Join a structured sales training program with clear milestones, and a career progression plan for strong performers

What You Will Bring:
  • 0+ years experience; technical aptitude/curiosity

  • Basic knowledge of SDR concepts, practices, procedures, and principles

  • Passion for Sales and the desire to grow and excel

  • Ability to independently solve problems

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Highly driven, intelligent, motivated and coachable

  • Collaborative and team oriented
