Job Description:

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.  

  •  Processes Merchandise vendor payments including receiving of mail, entry of invoices, monitor E-invoicing to identify any issues and ensure resolution, and grouping of invoices after verification of validity for wire transferEnsures receipt of all required documentation in preparation for wire transfer payments, address any out of tolerance variances between the PO and invoice and complete any adjustment needed prior to payment. In addition, coach vendors on correct document submission processes to resolve issues impacting timely payment going forward. 

  • Partners with vendors and third party to identify and resolve E-invoicing submission discrepancies including missing documentation and bank detail requirements.   

  • Gathers information and solves problems to process payments timely and accurately. Provides customer service related to banking issues, missing required documents, past due invoices, and chargeback disputes to a wide audience both inside and outside the Company. 

  • Research variances identified post payment between vendor invoices and goods processed in our Distribution Centers and determine if acceptable or make recommendation to our Merchandising partner related to potential shortage chargeback to avoid creating a relationship issue with the vendor while working to reduce any financial loss to the company.  

  • Processes commission, royalty, or misc. expense payments for all Import agents or other third parties as appropriate based on Purchase Order. 

  • Maintains & reviews documents for imaging in accordance with the Corporate Retention Policy. 

  • Special projects as assigned.

  •  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong oral and written communication 

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills 

  • Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel) 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Payables and/or related business experience desired

This position has a starting pay range of $19.40 to $24.75 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
