The Implementation Technical Lead will provide technical leadership for enterprise platform solutions, data transfer, IAM program implementation, and security protocols while supporting internal stakeholders.
Position Summary
Focus Financial Partners is seeking an Implementation Technical Lead, for the development and ongoing technical support of the various technology management programs. This critical role reports directly to the IT Director of Architecture and provides innovative technical leadership and engineering expertise which will drive the direction of the program’s architecture, capabilities, and strategy.
This role can be based in St. Louis, MO / Boston, MA
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement best in class technology solutions.
- Transferring data from legacy systems to new platforms and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Assist in design phase and implementation of an enterprise IAM program
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive documents and data.
- Develop and deliver training materials and documentation as needed.
- Diagnose and support the resolution of technical issues.
- Support the needs of various stakeholders throughout Focus and its affiliates with planning, development and management of the desktop environment
Skills & Qualifications
- 5-10 years of related experience in supporting enterprise platforms.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure and supporting services.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or similar work history
- Strong understanding of DMS software (e.g., SharePoint, Egnyte, iManage).
- Strong understanding of access control methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and security protocols.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and other relevant operating systems
- Understanding of network infrastructure
- Experience with tools for software deployment, such as InTune
- Understanding of desktop security platforms, including antivirus, EDR, firewalls and vulnerability management
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose/resolve desktop issues

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $155,000-$175,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
