Your Mission
As an Implementation Scientist, you will be directly responsible for onboarding new customers across the territory onto the SOPHiA GENETICS platform & product ecosystem via our MaxCare Program methodology. You will work cross-functionally to ensure seamless project execution, integration, and adoption of our genomic analysis platform and tools.
Reporting to the NORAM Implementation Manager, you will work autonomously and collaboratively alongside colleagues for both pre- and post-sale coordination.
The value add:

  • Partner with technical and Sales colleagues to understand customer requirements and draft a Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Project manage all activities leading to successful execution of a MaxCare Program, including creation of schedules and timelines, defining sampling strategies and supporting customers through issue resolution
  • Coordinate technical and executive stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • Provide all onboarding support & technical training throughout the customer-defined NGS workflow
  • Drive customer satisfaction through first routine run, and support ongoing application training


Requirements
Your Background:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant field such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar
  • Direct experience with Next-Generation Sequencing, library preparation, bioinformatics, and related consumables and products is critical
  • You will be logical, process-focused, and detail-orientated, capable of building, defining and upholding MaxCare Program timelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Previous working knowledge in a Commercial Technical support role linked to Genomics, including Field Applications Scientist, Clinical Application Consultant, Technical Specialist/Advisor or Subject Matter Expert within a Clinical Diagnostics, Biotech or Medical environment is highly valuable, but not required
