INTECON is looking for a highly skilled Implementation Process & Tool Trainer to support the Air Combat Command (ACC) Interoperability and Standards Branch (ACC/A5JI) under the Joint Interoperability of Tactical Command and Control Systems (JINTACCS) program. This role supports Department of Defense acquisition programs and other users by providing technical assistance, training, and user support for the iSMART process and the Government-designated software tool used to research Tactical Data Link (TDL) implementations and resolve interoperability disconnects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The roles shall include:

  • Provide technical assistance to users on the iSMART process and the Government-designated software tool for acquisition programs and other users. This includes answering questions as a help desk for the software.
  • Prepare and deliver updated training materials and conduct training (two classes per year) for approximately eight to ten students per class. Coordinate with the vendor, as necessary.
  • Research and gather information to develop Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, or presentation materials as assigned by the Government.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Possession of an Associate's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology.
  • USAF Program Management Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of experience managing a USAF program.
  • IT Project and Data Management Experience: At least two (2) years of demonstrated technical experience organizing comprehensive IT projects and applicable data management.
  • Security+ Certification: Possession of a current Security+ certification.
  • iSMART Experience: At least two (2) years of experience with the iSMART process and toolsets.
  • TDL Network and Military Standards Experience: At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience with TDL networks and familiarity with applicable military standards (US Mil-Std 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001).
  • Providing technical assistance and help desk support to users of the iSMART process and Government-designated software tool.

Proficiency in:

Preparation and delivery of iSMART training materials and conduct of instructor-led training sessions for acquisition programs and other users.

Coordination with software vendors to support training delivery and tool usage, as required.

Application of the iSMART process to document detailed system and platform implementation data.

Development of Background Papers, staff studies, Talking Papers, and presentation materials supporting Government-directed efforts.

Familiarity with Tactical Data Link (TDL) networks and applicable military standards, including US MIL-STD-3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001.
