Description

This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals passionate about both GRC and implementation excellence.

As an Implementation Manager, you’ll lead complex enterprise rollouts of the Anecdotes platform - translating customer needs into successful deployments and tangible business outcomes.

You’ll partner closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize GRC solutions that leverage modern technology and automation.

This is a hands-on role where execution, communication, and problem-solving meet innovation and impact.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end implementation projects - from onboarding through successful adoption, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery for enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to translate client requirements into scalable, product-based solutions.
  • Configure and tailor Anecdotes’ GRC platform to align with customer environments, processes, and controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert internally, helping the organization understand customer use cases, challenges, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders across all levels.
Requirements
  • An experienced GRC practitioner or consultant who has worked with modern GRC or risk management tools.
  • Experienced in implementing SaaS solutions or managing complex customer-facing technical projects.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical environments, including cloud infrastructure (CSPs), security tooling, MDMs, or SCMs.
  • A problem solver who looks for product-based, scalable solutions rather than manual workarounds.
  • Curious and forward-looking - you keep up with emerging standards, frameworks, and technologies in the GRC and SaaS landscape.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating across teams.
Our playground

Anecdotes is redefining enterprise GRC for the AI era.

We are the only AI-native GRC platform built on a foundation of complete, accurate, and structured data automatically collected from your systems—trusted by some of the largest enterprises in the world, including Fortune 500 companies and leading auditors.

By embedding AI across every corner of the GRC journey—audits, risk management, and continuous control monitoring—we’re transforming compliance from a manual, fragmented process into a strategic driver of business growth.

Join us and help shape how organizations implement and scale modern, data-driven GRC programs.

Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity at the intersection of GRC expertise and innovation. While it requires the background of an experienced GRC professional, it does not involve directly running a GRC program.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
