Summary: Supports implementations, process improvements and offers consultative services to complete enterprise initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: “To simplify complexities for each customer.”

  1. Responsibilities include the implementation of software, system, and enterprise applications that promote staff productivity, product health, efficient business operations and resource usage.
  2. Confidently leads project team to clearly define project scope, obtain estimates, build schedules and assign named resources to activities. Accomplishes this by possessing a persuasive, encouraging and motivating demeanor to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  3. Partner with Agile Leadership to create project forecasts to inform Portfolio priorities.
  4. Proactively identifies risks, partners with team members, Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Agile Release Train Leadership to mitigate, and promptly communicates risks and mitigations to the appropriate stakeholders.
  5. Leads project teams and oversees the planning, strategy and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise initiatives.
  6. Works with both internal and external groups to understand operational and business requirements, applicable technologies, products and/or services to meet the customer’s needs as well as contractual obligations.
  7. Takes responsibility for both strategic and tactical management of assigned initiatives and ensures they are delivered to scope, schedule, and of the highest quality standards utilizing the organization’s documented Project Management and SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) methodologies.
  8. Works with all relevant internal IT departments to serve as the voice of the end-user in discussions on technology and functionality. Oversees the actions of in-house development, business analysts, vendors and other teams as needed to create and accomplish goals in support of customer needs.
  9. Works to ensure a seamless transition from implementation of the project/initiative to post implementation. This involves requirements gathering, maintaining documentation, ensuring system technology needs, providing quality assurance and production support, and managing the entire project.
  10. Leads projects and plans to meet organizational initiatives. This position may require interaction with internal team members and external customers and/or vendors to complete implementation activities.
  11. Analyzes complex processes and procedures to implement creative solutions to solve problems.
  12. Captures and creates all related project implementation documentation to be used as a guide for all employees post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition of the customer into the maintenance cycle.
  13. Coordinates and develops external relationships with customers to accomplish goals in support of customer needs.
  14. Partners with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), Solution Train Engineers (STEs), and Program Managers and escalates risks external to the Planning Increment (PI) and participates actively in SAFe events in order to derive information related to project plans and timelines.

Qualifications/Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; plus five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Variable work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required due to the nature of installed technologies and utilization requirements.

Proven experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver foundational and enabling solutions based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding.

Must be comfortable with change, close collaboration, and have excellent conflict resolution skills.

  • Emotional maturity in guiding and influencing challenging team that result in positive outcomes
  • Political awareness and skill to drive change & influence others
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Experience managing and leading Agile and Waterfall based projects. Knowledge and experience using the SAFe framework is a plus. Experience in vendor and contract management useful. Proven leadership skills essential.  Prior experience in software product implementation and/or project management is required.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographical cost of labor, etc.  In addition to base pay, Healthesystems offers a comprehensive benefits package including, health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, wellness resources, recognition programs, 401k contribution, and PTO & Holiday pay (all subject to eligibility requirements). Anticipated Starting Pay Range
$76,500$105,380 USD

To facilitate working from home, and as a requirement for this role, candidates must provide their own reliable, high speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job functions. Company laptop will be provided.
