A Little More About The role:

This role is focused on supporting the marketing communications that help members and employers navigate our ICHRA product. You will help our team maintain day-to-day communications workflows, ensure content accuracy, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and support CRM and segmentation updates that keep ICHRA messaging consistent and reliable.

This isn’t a support role. It’s an opportunity to be the engine behind the marketing communications that help our members. You’ll be at the heart of our ICHRA product, collaborating across teams to ensure our messaging is as innovative and effective as our product. It’s fast-paced, high-impact, and perfect for someone looking to grow their career in a modern marketing environment.

You will:
  • Become an ICHRA subject matter expert, learning the operational and regulatory complexities of the business in order to effectively communicate to various stakeholders.

  • Support ICHRA segmentation updates, manual data uploads, audience list refreshes, and QA within Braze to support communications.

  • Support the execution and support of ongoing ICHRA operational campaigns including payments, monitoring workflows, error messaging, and optimization of recurring communications.

  • Support intake, prioritization, and organization of collateral and communication requests from Product, Operations, AM/IM, Gravie Care, Finance, Carrier Relations, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct periodic audits of ICHRA-facing communications and collateral to ensure accuracy as operations, regulatory requirements, or product features evolve, and update as needed.

  • Assist in the development of new collateral to support the business.

  • Help review and edit communications , as needed, for clarity, tone, and alignment with Gravie’s brand guidelines across member and employer touchpoints.

  • Help with ongoing or ad hoc projects that support the overall member, employer and product marketing experience.

You bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing operations, CRM or campaign support, or benefits communications.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to maintain consistent brand voice across email, digital, and print channels.
  • Experience or comfort working with CRM tools and operational campaign workflows. Braze or similar platforms preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and requests, track intake, and deliver against deadlines.

  • Familiarity with or interest in health benefits communications, employer sponsored plans, and member experience. Understanding of ICHRA is a plus.

  • High attention to detail, especially related to content accuracy, operational alignment, and brand consistency.

  • A proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions, identify opportunities for improvement, and help build scalable processes.

Extra credit:

  • Some experience in or familiarity with health-benefits communications or regulated industries.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
