  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives tailored to product teams, while ensuring alignment with firm-wide people policies and frameworks.
  • Provide thought leadership on building a differentiated culture for product talent (engineering, design, product management), balancing agility, experimentation, and performance accountability.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Total Rewards teams to design programs that attract, develop, and retain top-tier product talent while adapting to the firm's broader operating model.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to design and validate differentiated yet integrated compensation models and performance systems tailored for the innovative product organization.
  • Act as a change agent and advisor to help product leaders scale teams, navigate ambiguity, and implement talent-related decisions during rapid growth and product lifecycle transitions.
  • Use data and talent insights to influence decision-making, drive engagement, and anticipate the evolving HR needs of a technology-focused business embedded in a consulting firm context.

What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with a blend of professional services and product/software companies.
  • Strong exposure to or direct involvement in building HR capabilities for product organizations - including engineering, product management, and design.
  • Demonstrated experience in building performance management systems, compensation structures, and operating models from the ground up.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - someone who has helped stand up new business units, navigated ambiguity, and created scalable systems in rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to balance strategic HR thinking with tactical execution in a high-growth, cross-functional setting.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Additional Skills:
  • Strong project management and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and work across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task while working against tight timelines

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
