Flex HR is a full‑service Human Resources outsourcing firm supporting growing organizations across the United States. We are seeking a self‑directed, experienced HR Strategy Consultant to develop, implement, and optimize HR strategy and administration for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is fully remote, with ideal proximity to Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL for occasional collaboration.
Responsibilities- Develop and update employee handbooks and HR policies for clients
- Conduct comprehensive benefits audits and recommend improvements
- Build and maintain organizational charts and workforce planning tools
- Define, track, and analyze HR‑related KPIs
- Create and support ongoing employee growth and development plans
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer and track leaves of absence
- Partner with managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
- Ensure HR compliance across multiple states and regulatory environments
- Optimize existing HR technology and support implementation of new systems
- Ideally operate as an independent consultant with an established LLC
- Remote role; proximity to Atlanta or Chicago is preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong ability to prioritize, manage workload, and balance client needs
- Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and sound judgment
