JOIN OUR TEAM AS A HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
- Assist in the recruitment of all vacancies including postings, monitoring the interview process, managing the pre-employment and onboarding process and/or paperwork, and conducting/organizing Hospital-wide orientation.
- Prepares offers based upon an approved hire as directed by the Director of Human Resources and or Chief Executive Officer.
- Assist in conducting employee benefit orientation, open enrollment meetings, and enroll employees in health insurance and 401 (k) when eligible.
- Respond quickly to all unemployment compensation claims received for prior facility personnel.
- Manage and maintain all leave of absence records in accordance with federal and/or state requirements.
- Respond to Department of Family & Medical Leave Claims through the employer portal.
- Manage Worker’s Compensation claims, including periodic audits of existing claims to ensuring appropriate completion of paperwork. Monitor status of all Worker’s Compensation claims.
- Assist in preparing personnel-related documents for Joint Commission & DPH surveys, as required.
- Ensure Payroll/HRIS system data remains consistent with personnel records and prepares Personnel Action Forms for correction when necessary.
- Respond to all employee complaints in a professional manner and assist—where necessary—with conducting preliminary investigations, as requested by the Director of HR.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education & Licensure (if applicable): Master’s Degree in business administration or related field is preferred; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting; or any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office.
Additional Skill Requirements: Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $43,680.00 - $70,096.00 annually. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Human Resources Generalist!
