The Human Resources Generalist has a broad knowledgebase in all aspects of HR including the application of HR policies, practices and tools relevant to the entire employee lifecycle. The HR Generalist will report to the HR Director and support daily functions of a growth-oriented organization as it relates to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, maintenance of the HRIS, ATS and Performance Management systems. This versatile role supports both employees and managers in day-to-day HR operational tasks and will serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and general requests. This position works closely with the HR Director to foster a positive work environment while ensuring efficient business operations and providing general HR support to a results-focused and highly engaged employee base.
Responsibilities:
- Possess a general knowledge in all things HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, benefits, payroll and compliance.
- Recruit, source, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions in a high volume, high growth organization. Work with multiple departments and hiring managers to review, track and monitor the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to align on role requirements and skills.
- Conduct new team member onboarding sessions and oversee completion of onboarding requirements.
- Maintain company HRIS, ATS and Performance Management systems.
- Assist with the quarterly Employee Engagement Survey process, including facilitation, communications, tracking of responses and follow up on completion of action items.
- Support efforts for annual benefit open enrollment period ensuring timely communication and enrollment completion.
- Facilitate internal training programs relevant to AgencyBloc’s SOC2 and HITRUST certifications and coordinate compliance requirements as needed.
- Assist with the compensation program including the annual merit increase process.
- Ensure employee files and required documents or agreements are kept up to date and are in compliance with all relevant employment laws.
- Maintain the AgencyBloc intranet site with up-to-date company information and events.
- Assist with HR documentation and record keeping including, but not limited to, employment agreements, company policies and procedures, job descriptions and job postings.
- Additional duties as assigned to you by your manager.
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience at the HR Generalist level, with an excellent understanding of all aspects of human resources.
- Technically savvy and experienced with HRIS platforms and administration.
- Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office or related software.
- Proven ability to handle a variety of HR inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
- Previous Saas/Tech industry experience preferred but not required.
- Bring a strong detail-oriented and highly organized working style.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to collaborate with diverse groups of people.
