Job Description

Human Resources Generalists will play a critical role in managing and supporting the site the HR team to provide consistent, professional HR support to the organization.

  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
  • Assist in recruiting
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees.

  • Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.

  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

  • Prepares and delivers presentations regarding human resources and employee relations topics.
  • Provides back-up support for Benefits programs such as insurance cards, leave of absence tracking and employee assistance.
  • Administer retirements and service awards

Additional Job Details

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related.
  • 2 years of experience as an HR coordinator.
  • Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
