ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HRIS Analyst with a strong background in Workday to join our People Technology HRIS team. In this role, you will partner with HR leaders and collaborate with key stakeholders in managing, optimizing, and supporting Workday to ensure efficient, streamlined and accurate processing and operations. The HRIS Analyst will analyze work process design and flow, drive system enhancements, process improvements and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Analyst will work with HR leaders to build project plans, ensure adherence to project schedules, maintain systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position will be supporting Workday Recruiting and serves as a technical point of contact and acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday Recruiting module, ensuring optimal configuration, support and maintenance. The HRIS Analyst also supports Workday releases, upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Compensation: $72,000.00 – $86,000.00/annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contributes to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives with the HRIS landscape, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
- Facilitate project migration, unit/system testing, documents change control and user sign off, ensure changes meet SOX compliance.
- Document requirements for system modifications and improvements and manage progress through UAT to implementation.
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve recruiting and onboarding processing and system issues. Coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
- Maintain HRIS system tables, configurations, and business processes in Workday. Documents process and results.
- Support and enhance integrations between Workday and third-party vendors.
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Provide end-user support and conduct training, including developing user procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation on existing, and new functionality or system changes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 to 3 years of focused Workday HCM configuration experience, with a strong emphasis and technical understanding of Recruiting and Core HCM preferably in a mid to large-sized organization in the health care space.
- In-depth understanding of recruiting processing and configuration.
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio) preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience using issue and project tracking tools (ex. JIRA, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
