Our team is currently working primarily remotely, with a number of our vaccinated employees opting to work regularly from our physical office in Cambridge, MA. Our team values the health and safety of our people above all else, so we’re continuing to work distributedly, but our PeopleOps team plans to return to the office on a semi-regular basis upon a broader transition back to the office.
About the position
Our People Operations team is growing, and we’re looking for an organized, business-minded, energetic, and people-driven individual to specialize in our recruiting and employer branding efforts.
This person will be responsible for owning the execution and strategy of our full life-cycle hiring process and ensuring an exceptional experience for every candidate and hiring team. They’ll collaborate closely and communicate often with stakeholders across all teams, including hiring managers, department heads, the People Operations team, and interviewers.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the execution and evolution of an exceptional candidate and hiring team experience.
- Managing all elements of the recruiting process, including: developing recruiting plans and materials, launching job postings, scheduling interviews, maintaining the applicant tracking system, setting up video conferencing, and hosting interviewer kickoff meetings and training sessions.
- Handling all written candidate communications; serving as the liaison and main point-of-contact between candidates and the organization.
- Assisting hiring managers/teams with the development of written recruiting collateral, including: job descriptions, marketing materials, rubrics, candidate communication templates, take home exercises, etc.
- Evaluating candidates in the pipeline based on hiring managers’ criteria, through conducting resume screening, initial interview screens, and culture-add interviews.
- Serving as a thought partner to hiring managers in determining candidate profiles, developing sourcing strategies, creating interviewing materials, and evaluating candidates.
- Managing relationships and content with external recruiting vendors/platforms and sourcing partners; proactively researching and developing new partnerships.
- Proactively promoting and maintaining elements of diversity, inclusion, and equity throughout the candidate experience.
- Creating a welcoming pre-boarding experience for recently hired team members, including collaborating with our tech team for equipment needs and coordinating core onboarding experiences.
- Planning, executing, and representing the organization at a variety of virtual and in-person recruiting and branding events.
- Supporting sourcing efforts by actively reaching out to prospective candidates through our partner organizations; ensuring we’re sourcing a talented and diverse pool of candidates.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about building and hosting positive experiences for others; love interacting with a variety of people.
- Love owning a wide variety of high-touch processes and systems; very detail-oriented.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Be energized by fast-paced work and the opportunity to change gears between operational and interpersonal responsibilities.
- Have some level of comfort working with databases or applicant tracking systems.
