We're looking for a friendly and helpful people ops professional who can foster a healthy culture by ensuring HR procedures run effectively and smoothly for our employees. You will be the go-to person for questions related to all our HR programs, including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, performance management, wellness, and rewards and recognition.

This position is located in the Boston office but you'll be responsible for helping with people-related issues across all our locations, including Virginia, DC, Texas, and beyond.

As our People Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Establish yourself as a trusted resource within the organization by being positive, helpful, personable, discrete, and human-focused
  • Be the main point of contact for employee questions about our programs, policies and procedures
  • Oversee the employee onboarding process, educating our employees about their benefits and how to access them, and ensuring that people have an amazing experience as they join our team
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate thoughtful company policies, being mindful of common best practices and supporting compliance with federal & state laws
  • Manage our performance review process, handle sensitive issues, and coach managers on employment issues
  • Assist in payroll processing for our hourly employees and external contractors
  • Collect feedback on employee experience and satisfaction, using that data to identify ways to enhance our organization
  • Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS systems

What you'll bring as our People Ops Coordinator:

  • 3+ years of prior human resources experience
  • A customer service mindset and stellar interpersonal skills - you're as comfortable communicating with senior leadership as you are presenting to the entire company
  • Proven understanding of general HR practices as well as Federal and State employment law
  • Experience in an organization with a variety of employee types (FTE/PTE, salaried/hourly, onsite/remote, etc.)
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and an aptitude for creative problem solving
  • An entrepreneurial, collaborative attitude and flexibility with change
  • Genuine concern for people over process
