Payroll Administrator
DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for approximately 3,500 employees in the US and Canada. The job requires strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collection of hours from the Kronos Time and Attendance system
Data entry of payroll transactions in ADP's Enterprise and Pay@Work payroll applications - Processing and notification of garnishments. Works with related government agencies to respond to inquiries and resolve issues
- Provides support and resolution on payroll issues to employees via email and telephone
- Produce, review and reconcile payroll audit reports
- Calculate and Complete manual checks
Requirements
EDUCATION: High School Diploma/G.E.D or equivalent work experience. Associate Degree a plus. Fundamental Payroll Certification(FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional(CPP) preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 1- 2 years related payroll experience. Experience working with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel required.
SKILLS: Attention to detail/accuracy, strong analytical/mathematical skills. Excellent customer service skills.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts daily with associates at all levels throughout the company.
