Role Description: Human Resources Operations Specialist
Role Purpose:
Wasabi’s Human Resources Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to be involved in every facet of Human Resources. The ideal candidate is a Human Resources professional who enjoys being the go-to person for payroll, benefits, onboarding, documentation, office support and more! We’re looking for a self-starter that is detail oriented, analytical and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary administrator for our HRIS, Benefits, Training & 401(k) platforms, managing the platforms through all stages of the employee lifecycle and conducting routine audits as needed.
- Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly basis for 200+ employees.
- Generate reports from HR systems and analyze data using Excel formulas.
- Work closely with all members of the Human Resources department to optimize internal processes, conducting administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure HR files and records are maintained in accordance with federal and state legal and compliance requirements.
- Perform office administrative tasks including office badge access, mail collection and review, general office upkeep.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of HR experience.
- 1-3 years of experience with HR/Payroll/Benefit systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel.
- Expert level attention to detail in every aspect of work.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
