How you will make an impact

  • Formulate comprehensive HR strategy; develop policies and practices (including Employee’s Handbook) that support company goals and create a diverse, respectful, welcoming, and inclusive work environment for all associates.
  • Act as a partner to Insurify’s leadership team as it relates to long term people strategy, organizational design and workforce planning.
  • Build a robust recruiting and selection process, with emphasis on expanding the recruitment network to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee engagement and people’s operations (benefits, wellness, systems).
  • Develop and execute strategies, including ongoing education and training programs, to grow a diverse, inclusive and equitable organization.
  • Establish a robust performance development process with clear goals, feedback and development options.
  • Provide counsel on sensitive work-related issues and conduct investigations, where needed. 
  • Develop a compensation and total reward framework that ensures Insurify is able to attract, reward and retain a world class team.
  • Advise and coach managers at all levels to improve management skills within the organization.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's human resource function; assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements (EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, OSHA, etc.).

  • Proven ability to address sensitive people and business issues with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • 10+ years experience building and implementing employee development and  retention programs.
