The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director HR Ops Americas, as the HR Operations – Benefits & Compensation Specialist, you will provide professional guidance, coordination, and support in effectively applying compensation administration policies and practices.  You will administer and maintain various compensation-related data management in Workday (or other systems if applicable) and you will coordinate and facilitate compensation programs and initiatives.  You will provide advice, training, and support to Tier 1 – HR Advisors. You will also support and liaise with the Compensation Center of Excellence (COE) team and support auditing, reporting, and YE Merit activities, including Merit and Bonus yearly cycles. You will work with the Talent Development COE Tuition and support the Tuition Program with the administration.  You will be required to understand policies for both HR, Compensation, and Tuition Reimbursement. You must work closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Service Center Supervisor, and other Tier 2 Specialist team members throughout the year, especially during YE activities.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three (3) days of onsite work weekly. #LI-hybrid

The Role:
  • Responsible for a broad range of data support for Compensation programs with primary focuses on execution of end-to-end processes and all tasks associated with Employee Cloud/Workday.
  • Conducts day-to-day HRIS transactional processing in Employee Cloud/Workday and other related HR Systems. Manage complex requirements that adhere with business hiring needs.  Collaborate with the Compensation and Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE) and identify trends, process improvements, and opportunities for automation.
  • Supports all HR COEs for executing core, common and consistent processes, tasks and overall administration, and ensures continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization. 
  • Participates or leads Year-End (YE) initiatives for Merit and Bonus cycles.
  • Partner with Compensation and Talent Management (COE) to document and streamline processes to support the implementation of technology to streamline these processes, when needed.
  • Prepares and submits error-free EIB to the Compensation COE as necessary during YE or throughout the year.
  • Provides guidance to Tier 1 – HR Advisors or the HRSC during YE and as needed throughout the year.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for HR Operations regarding Compensation policies and processes and participates as the SME in various ad hoc projects.
  • Collaborates with HRSC Supervisor and HR Operations Americas leadership by introducing Compensation changes, providing training to HRSC.  Liaise with other Compensation Specialists in other regions and share common goals.
  • Creates, monitors, and closes out tickets in case management tool, as well as work closely with other HR staff members and HR Systems to provide service and support to all other HR functional areas. 
  • Ensures that case notes are professionally written and that they thoroughly and accurately detail the problem and the proposed resolution.
  • Responsible for adhering to appropriate HR Operations Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensures HR Operations’ key objective of trust adheres to accepting ownership for accomplishing business requests building relationship with COE, HR, HR Operations and other organizations within CSL. 
  • Identifies escalation trends and opportunities for process improvement and/or new solutions.
  • Assists in identifying areas to improve communications and efficiency of operations and implementing changes.
  • Partners with clients in improving processes by recommending solutions and referrals to policies/procedures, SMEs or contracted vendors.
  • Supports HRSC with service calls inquiries or tickets as needed during peak periods.
  • Builds positive relationship with Compensation Specialist partner.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Work in a team environment and ensure collaboration is top goal.
  • Responsible for execution and analysis of include daily, monthly, or monthly compensation audits. Provide feedback to HRSC Supervisor and Tier 2 Specialists regionally on occasion globally as needed.
  • This position is based onsite at our Boca Raton, FL office.
Your Skills & Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree, in Human Resources, Business or related field; IHRIM and/or SHRM certification a plus.
  • 2 - 5 years’ experience focused on Benefits Administration.
  • Knowledge of Workday is required, focus on HCM is preferred.
  • Experience in HR or Shared Services operations; experience spanning multiple HR areas desirable.
  • Knowledge of case management systems and HR Portal technology is helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to work in independent or team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all parties as required.
  • Written communication is clear and succinct in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Process improvement, and comprehensive understanding of the cross functional processes.
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, most importantly Excel.
  • Six Sigma Certification a plus.

  • Office Environment.
  • Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic and international travel may be required from time to time (less than 10%).
