We’re looking for a hands-on and solutions-oriented HR Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our HR function and oversee the work of our HR Coordinator. This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and plays a key part in bringing consistency, structure, and forward momentum to our people operations.
The ideal candidate brings experience in national labor compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR policy development, along with a sharp eye for identifying opportunities through internal audits and process reviews. As we grow and evolve, we recognize the need to strengthen our foundation—and this role will be instrumental in helping us get there.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage and execute daily HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, changes, etc.)
· Supervise and coach the HR Coordinator, supporting their development and ensuring operational excellence
· Oversee national labor law compliance and ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations across all jurisdictions
· Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a key liaison for benefits vendors and employees
· Support employee relations cases, including investigations, documentation, and resolution strategies
· Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
· Conduct internal audits of HR files, processes, and systems; present findings and recommendations to the CHRO and leadership
· Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across systems
· Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards to inform business and compliance decisions
· Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, enhance the employee experience, and implement HR projects
· Act as a trusted partner and point of contact for employees and managers across the business
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or operations-focused role
· Demonstrated experience in national labor law compliance and multi-state HR practices
· Prior experience supervising or mentoring HR support staff
· Proficient in administering employee benefits programs
· Strong background in employee relations, policy development, and HR documentation
· Experience conducting internal HR audits and presenting findings to leadership
· High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
Preferred:
· PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification
· Experience working in high-growth or rapidly changing environments
· Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms, Ripply and Ashby.

Working Conditions
This position is designated as remote, with the expectation that the HR Manager has a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, professional home workspace. While the role is primarily performed from home, occasional travel may be required for team meetings, trainings, or company events.
The HR Manager must be available to work during core business hours aligned with the company’s needs and be accessible via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meeting tools throughout the workday. As this role supports global operations, the ability to flex working hours occasionally to accommodate different time zones is required.
