Position Overview
A well-established organization in the packaging, manufacturing, and distribution industry is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support its Hazleton, PA operations. This hands-on role will partner with employees and management in a fast-paced operational environment, supporting employee relations, performance management, onboarding, compliance, benefits, and day-to-day HR functions
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding policies, workplace concerns, and employee relations
  • Conduct and document employee investigations, corrective actions, and performance-related matters
  • Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, attendance, employee communication, and conflict resolution
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee changes, and offboarding
  • Coordinate employee leaves, accommodations, workers' compensation matters, and benefits-related support
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS information
  • Partner with operational leadership on employee engagement, retention, and workforce needs
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Experience supporting a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or operational workforce preferred
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices
  • Strong communication, judgment, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • $65,000–$95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time position based in Hazleton, PA
  • Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process
