Modivcare is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner III - Employee Relations to join our team. This individual will align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, execute key Human Resources (HR) initiatives, provide responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional excellence and continuous improvement.

This role will be supporting our East Coast region and will be expected to hold East Coast hours.

This role…

  • Forms partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect business goals.

  • Maintains business literacy about unit financials, plans, culture, and competition.

  • Consults with assigned management and provides HR guidance to management and employees.

  • Builds strong work relationships to improve morale, productivity, and retention.

  • Coaches leaders to develop and enhance their leadership and management effectiveness.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Conducts regular meetings with business leaders and supports them with HR matters including disciplinary action, terminations, leave management, ADA accommodations, benefits eligibility, promotions, and employee recognition programs.

  • Monitors turnover and exit trends and supports development of action plans to reduce attrition.

  • Analyzes HR trends and metrics to develop and implement solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Conducts thorough and objective employee relations investigations and recommends improvements.

  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and minimizes legal risks.

  • Partners with the legal department as needed.

  • Delivers day-to-day performance management coaching, career development, and counseling.

  • Identifies training needs and collaborates with Organizational Development to ensure effectiveness.

  • Maintains confidential employee records and ensures compliance with company policy and law.

  • Administers HR processes from onboarding to termination.

  • May respond to unemployment claims including hearing attendance.

  • Coaches and supports other HR team members.

  • May participate in additional projects and assignments.

  • Occasional business travel may be required.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Five (5) plus years of HR experience.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employment law.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; builds trust across all levels.

  • Organizational and detail orientation with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Understanding of compensation, org structure, and job hierarchy.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competency in advising managers and resolving HR challenges using sound judgment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: $80,400 - $108,600

Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
