Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant providing support to Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Sustainment Division (NCL). The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. 


This position’s primary role will provide senior-level administrative and human resources support to Directorate leadership and staff by applying knowledge of Air Force civilian and military personnel systems; prepare briefings, correspondence, and management documentation; research and assess HR issues; support senior‑level meetings and program events; coordinate and document physical and virtual meetings and conferences; and provide travel planning and DTS-related support within prescribed contractor authorities.


This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Base, Hanscom, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and HR support across a range of personnel actions, taskers, and organizational initiatives.
  • Conduct research, analyze issues, and prepare clear, concise, and fully coordinated written documentation, briefings, and reports.
  • Support senior‑level meetings, reviews, and briefings, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and coordination with participants.
  • Track progress of organizational initiatives and ensure leadership is informed on mission‑relevant issues.
  • Prepare and maintain official documentation such as attendance logs, meeting minutes, action items, and program records in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Disseminate policy updates, guidance, and tasking information across the organization.
  • Manage scheduling and execution of virtual and in‑person meetings, including VTC setup, equipment logs, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide staff support to senior managers by compiling program data, developing background materials, and supporting decision-making processes.
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Current Active Secret Clearance required at time of applicationEducation: BA/BS degree requiredYears of Experience: 7-10 years of progressively responsible administrative or HR support experience, including:

  • Experience with AF Civilian and Military personnel systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, prepare briefings, and support leadership at multiple echelons.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to track deadlines, taskers, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and maintain professionalism in a high‑visibility environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • Certifications: SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent.
  • Prior military service or DoD HR/Manpower experience.
