Houdini Technical Artist with Omniverse Experience
FS Studio is seeking a Houdini Technical Artist with Omniverse Experience to create procedural scenes and objects for synthetic data and robotic simulations in Nvidia Omniverse.
Responsibilities
Work with the creative services team to design and create procedural scenes and objects for synthetic data and robotic simulations in Nvidia Omniverse.
Must have industry/enterprise experience e.g. warehousing, robotic arms, manufacturing, automation, etc
Collaborate with Sr. Technical Artist and Lead Artist to create photo realistic quality scenes and objects.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Ensure the quality and performance of the final product.
Requirements
Procedural modeling and scene generation in Houdini are required.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in USD workflows are required.
Demonstrated aptitude and knowledge of Python for Houdini and USD pipelines are required.
Familiarity with version control systems is required.
Nvidia Omniverse experience is preferred.
Unreal Engine and Unity experience is preferred.
Blender geometry nodes knowledge is preferred.
Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or C++ is a plus.
Experience with cloud-based services and APIs is a plus.
The ability to work independently and as part of a global, remote team in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are mandatory.
Must be able to speak and conduct business in English is mandatory.
Portfolio of work is mandatory.
