Main Purpose of the Role

Welo Global is seeking an experienced freelance English (en-US) to Hebrew (he-IL) Translator and Copy Editor to support an exciting, long-term project with a leading multinational company.

This is an on-going freelance and remote position.

Project Details

Location: Remote
Expected Volume: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words per week
Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract
Task type: Translation and Copy-Editing
Content types: Marketing, Product, Support, Informational, Light Legal
CAT Tool: Client specific CAT tool (training provided)

Requirements

  • Native or near‑native proficiency in Hebrew (he-IL) with excellent command of English (en-US)
  • 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
    or
  • 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
  • Demonstrated experience translating English to Hebrew across a variety of content types, including informational, marketing, product, support
  • Experience using CAT tools 
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment
  • Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions
