Program Overview:

The Heart Recovery Summer Internship is a structured, hands-on learning opportunity designed for students interested in cardiovascular health and medical technology. Interns will gain exposure to multidisciplinary heart recovery programs, patient-centered care models, and the operational, educational, and research activities that support improved cardiac outcomes.

 

This internship provides meaningful experience in a collaborative healthcare environment while building foundational skills for careers in healthcare, public health, life sciences, or medical technology.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., engineering, health sciences, public health, or related field)

  • Strong interest in cardiovascular health, patient recovery, or healthcare systems

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Preferred:

  • Coursework or experience related to cardiovascular health

  • Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare, clinical research, or medical technology

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$23.00/hr to $51.50/hr

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
