Sanofi is seeking an innovative and strategic leader for the role of Head of Talent, Jobs & Skills Product Line. This crucial position is responsible for the worldwide functional configuration design and strategy for the Workday tenant configuration of the talent module, covering career development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and the Skills Cloud. Additionally, the role involves integrating sourcing technologies such as candidate relationship management (CRM) systems, interview management tools, jobs and skills taxonomies, and talent pool automation platforms. Experience with Workday Skills Cloud, Workday Talent Module, Beamery, and SkyHive is strongly preferred. The leader will collaborate closely with the Chief Talent Officer, the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition CoEs as well as cross-functional and local P&C teams to deliver a strategic roadmap that ensures the seamless and efficient operation of talent technologies across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Product Management Leadership: Lead the product management team responsible for the global configuration and support of the Workday Talent Module, ensuring that the system supports Sanofi's strategic goals and P&C objectives related to talent management.

  • Workday Talent Configuration Expertise: Oversee the configuration of the Workday Talent Module, covering career development, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Ensure that the configuration aligns with global standards and is tailored to meet local requirements where necessary.

  • Skills Cloud and Integration Management: Lead the configuration and management of the Workday Skills Cloud, ensuring accurate representation of employee skills and competencies. Oversee the integration of sourcing technologies such as Beamery for CRM, SkyHive for skills taxonomy management, and other tools for interview management and talent pool automation.

  • Strategic Roadmap Delivery: Drive the execution of the strategic roadmap for talent technologies, aligning with broader P&C technology objectives. Anticipate functional requirements and manage technical debt to support continuous improvement in talent management processes.

  • End-to-End Process Design: Oversee the end-to-end process design for talent management, ensuring that global processes are efficient, scalable, and effectively integrated with other HR functions, such as sourcing, career development, and performance management.

  • Vendor Integration and Collaboration: Manage the integration of talent management technologies and vendors with the Workday ecosystem, ensuring seamless data exchange and alignment with Sanofi's talent strategy.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Digital Products, People Services, and local market HR teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment of talent technologies with overall P&C strategies.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital product management or HR technology strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing talent management systems and technology portfolios.

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in configuring and managing the Workday Talent Module and Skills Cloud is required. Familiarity with Beamery, SkyHive, and other talent management tools, including their integration with Workday, is highly desirable.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams through complex global technology initiatives. Strong collaborative skills, particularly in working with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to anticipate business needs and manage technical debt while delivering on a strategic roadmap for talent management. Focus on innovation and continuous process improvement.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategies to diverse audiences. Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement is advantageous.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications in HRIS, Workday, or talent management are preferred.

Sanofi's Bridgewater, NJ office is scheduled to relocate to Morristown, NJ on or around March 24, 2025 and this role will then be based in Morristown, NJ.​

The salary range for this position is:

$148,125.00 - $213,958.33
