SentiLink provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact with confidence. We’re building the future of identity verification in the United States replacing a clunky, ineffective, and expensive status quo with solutions that are 10x faster, smarter, and more accurate.

We’ve seen tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, starting with financial services and rapidly expanding into new markets. SentiLink is backed by world-class investors including Craft Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, NYCA, and Max Levchin.

We’ve earned recognition from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50. We have also been named a 2026 FICO Industry Vanguard Decision Award Winner. Last but not least, we’ve even made history - we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives on the future of identity.

SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle (Bellevue), Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.

Role:

As a Head of Retail Energy GTM, you will lead SentiLink’s expansion across the retail energy ecosystem, including competitive energy suppliers, retail electricity providers (REPs), retail natural gas providers, community choice aggregators (CCAs), utility-adjacent service providers, energy marketplaces, and energy technology platforms. You’ll partner with organizations facing complex challenges in identity verification, fraud prevention, customer onboarding, account security, payment risk, and compliance across their customer acquisition and account management experiences.

Your energy industry expertise will extend well beyond traditional sales - we're looking to you to help define our retail energy go-to-market strategy, develop playbooks for the vertical, and identify new opportunities across the broader energy ecosystem.

This is a remote, US-based role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the retail energy vertical by identifying, prioritizing, and engaging retail electricity providers, retail natural gas providers, community choice aggregators, energy retailers, energy marketplaces, and energy technology platforms

  • Own the entire sales cycles from prospecting through close, including discovery, business case development, solution positioning, and commercial negotiations

  • Help define SentiLink’s retail energy go-to-market strategy, messaging, and use cases

  • Build trusted relationships with fraud, risk, customer operations, revenue protection, credit, compliance, customer experience, and digital transformation leaders

  • Navigate complex organizations and align stakeholders across operational, technical, and executive teams

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success to drive successful customer outcomes

  • Stay current on evolving fraud trends, customer acquisition challenges, regulatory developments, and identity-related risks impacting energy providers

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably selling SaaS solutions into retail energy, utilities, fintech, telecommunications, or financial services organizations

  • Demonstrated success selling into complex enterprise environments using a multi-stakeholder sales motion

  • Experience working with retail energy providers, utilities, energy marketplaces, energy technology companies, or customer acquisition organizations preferred

  • Strong understanding of customer onboarding, identity verification, fraud prevention, account security, payment risk, revenue protection, credit risk, or compliance workflows preferred

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly driven in fast-paced startup environments

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic selling skills

  • Established network within retail energy, utilities, fraud, risk, customer operations, credit, compliance, or digital transformation teams is a plus

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States

Compensation:
  • $275,000/year - $350,000/year OTE + equity + benefits

Perks:
  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents

  • 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Regular company-wide in-person events

  • Home office stipend, and more!

Corporate Values:
  • Follow Through

  • Deep Understanding

  • Whatever It Takes

  • Do Something Smart
