About Fello:

Fello is a profitable, hyper-growth, VC-backed B2B SaaS company building the AI Operating System for relationship-driven growth.

Our platform combines data intelligence, marketing automation, and conversational AI to help businesses engage smarter, move faster, and scale effortlessly. We turn complex data into simple, intelligent actions — automating everything from outreach to follow-up.

Fello isn’t another tool in the stack. It’s the system that powers them, learning, adapting, and executing in real time so professionals can focus on growth, not guesswork.

If you’re fired up about building the backbone of an AI-driven product that’s changing how professionals work, you’ll fit right in.

About You:

You build the machine that turns product into revenue. You've scaled a B2B SaaS company through hyper-growth before, and you know exactly what breaks at each stage. You're obsessed with metrics, user behavior, and compounding loops that create sustainable growth.

You'll report directly to the CPO/Co-Founder and be the first dedicated growth hire. You'll own growth end-to-end: activation, time-to-value, self-serve infrastructure, conversion, monetization, and our transition from sales-led to product-led motion.

You're comfortable in the space between product-led and sales-led, designing experiences that work independently while feeding enterprise pipeline. You're hands-on, you ship fast, and you'll build the foundation for what becomes a full growth function as we scale.

This is a remote role.

You Will:
  • Own the growth strategy and execution – define metrics, build systems, and drive the plan forward
  • Drive time-to-value and activation – identify friction, design "aha moments," build onboarding experiences that get users to value fast
  • Architect and scale our hybrid GTM motion – lead the transition from sales-led to product-led, designing self-serve experiences that convert while generating qualified enterprise pipeline
  • Design and ship growth experiences – signup flows, onboarding, activation features, upgrade moments, expansion loops
  • Own PLG strategy for our new AI products – define self-serve experiences for conversational AI and co-pilot
  • Optimize the user journey end-to-end – from first interaction through activation, conversion, expansion, renewal
  • Define and instrument growth metrics – activation rates, time-to-value, conversion, expansion, PQLs
  • Run continuous experiments – pricing, packaging, onboarding, feature discovery, upgrade paths
  • Partner with VP of Product – align on roadmap, balance new capabilities with growth optimization
  • Partner with CRO – bridge product insights and revenue strategy, ensure PLG motions feed sales pipeline, translate user behavior into sales enablement
  • Build product-led sales handoffs – define when self-serve moves to sales, what signals matter, how product data informs sales
  • Own pricing and packaging – free vs. paid, usage vs. seats, feature gating, AI monetization
You Have:
  • 5-8 years in product or growth roles at B2B SaaS companies, with hands-on experience building PLG motions
  • Proven track record scaling a high-growth B2B SaaS company through product-led growth
  • Deep product intuition – you think like a PM, understand user psychology, and design experiences that guide users toward value and conversion
  • PLG expertise – you've built self-serve onboarding, activation loops, and in-product conversion experiences that drive revenue
  • Experience with sales-led to product-led transitions – you know what to productize and when to keep the human touch
  • Strong product analytics skills – you live in tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel, understand cohort analysis, and make decisions based on user behavior
  • Hybrid model experience – you understand how PLG and sales-led motions work together and create compounding growth
  • Hands-on execution – you've written PRDs, worked with designers on UX, collaborated with engineers, and shipped features yourself
  • Experience with AI products (bonus) – you understand AI adoption dynamics, time-to-value for intelligent features, and compute economics
  • Builder mentality – you've built growth systems from scratch; you ship first, optimize later
  • Cross-functional collaboration – you influence product roadmaps, align with sales and marketing, and drive execution across teams
  • Exceptional communication skills – you translate user behavior into compelling narratives and sell your growth strategy internally
  • Ownership mindset – you take full accountability for activation and conversion outcomes
Our Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Fully remote work with flexible hours to promote work-life balance.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO and paid holidays to recharge and relax.
  • Collaborative Culture: A supportive team environment that values innovation and collaboration.
  • Equity Options: Opportunity to own a part of Fello and share in our success.
  • Cutting-Edge Projects: Work on innovative products that leverage AI and advanced technologies.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
