About Freed

Doctors are overworked, burnt out, and are quitting in masses.

At Freed, we combine clinician love with the latest AI tech and intense execution to create products that make clinicians happier.

Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation.

Since May of 2023, we have:

  • Acquired 20,000 paying and loving clinicians

  • Generated 70,000 patient notes daily and over 2 million monthly

  • Made thousands of clinicians happier

With the backing of Sequoia Capital and other world-class VC’s, we are rapidly expanding our product offering. Patient-facing assistants, patient insights, EHR integrations, and other products are being built and used by thousands of clinicians every day.

We are looking for entrepreneurs. Fast, ambitious, and smart individuals who want to take care of the people who care for our health. Expect intense, clinician-focused, and interesting co-workers who want to win.

With offices in both San Francisco and New York City, we embrace a hybrid schedule that brings out the best in teamwork and innovation. Our teams come together in person three days a week to collaborate, connect, and have a little fun along the way.

About the Role:

As our Head of Partnerships, you’ll build and scale a high-leverage partnerships function that drives net-new B2B revenue, embeds Freed into critical workflows, and accelerates adoption across clinician-heavy organizations. This role will report to the Head of Sales.

How You’ll Have Impact:
  • Define and continuously refine Freed’s partnership thesis (who, why, and how).

  • Develop a partner segmentation model (impact × complexity × GTM fit).

  • Prioritize Tier 1 partnerships, including potential relationships with EHRs, MSOs, staffing agencies, and telehealth platforms.

  • Own outreach, relationship-building, and structuring of high-impact partnerships.

  • Lead deal negotiation across pilots, co-sell agreements, rev-share, reseller deals, and integrations.

  • Create repeatable playbooks for top-performing partnership motions.

  • Drive onboarding, enablement, and GTM alignment for each partner.

  • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, and RevOps to ensure execution success.

  • Launch co-marketing efforts and monitor engagement metrics.

  • Define KPIs for partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.

  • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance across motions.

  • Build dashboards to track impact and optimize strategy.

  • Partner with Product to evaluate and execute integrations.

  • Prioritize APIs, marketplace listings, and embedded workflow opportunities.

  • Funnel feedback into product strategy based on GTM impact.

  • Represent Freed externally through events, co-webinars, and partner communications.

  • Build the company’s credibility across the broader healthcare and tech ecosystem.

  • Lead the evolution of a partnerships advisory function as Freed scales.

What You Bring
  • 10–15 years of experience in partnerships, GTM strategy, or business development with a track record of delivering scalable growth.

  • Experience operating in or selling to healthcare, tech, or B2B SaaS environments.

  • Proven ability to own deals end-to-end—from thesis to execution.

  • Strategic thinker with a builder mindset and comfort in ambiguity.

  • Strong commercial instincts, excellent communication, and high credibility with executive stakeholders.

What We’ll Bring
  • Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth company

  • Opportunity to make an immediate impact

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Unlimited paid time off

  • Company-sponsored annual retreats

Compensation Range: $270K - $330K

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
